PASWARA PAPERS LIMITED is a PASWARA GROUP company, founded in 1980, based in India and engaged in manufacturing of Multi Layer Kraft Paper and Paper Board, used for making packaging boxes, cartons, paper bags, etc, to cater the Specialty Paper Market in India and abroad. Corrugated Paper, manufactured from recycled paper and wholly recyclable, is a fantastic packaging choice for environmentally conscious companies looking to reduce plastic waste and carbon footprint.
In 1984, a Unit in the name of Paswara Papers Ltd. was established at Mohiuddinpur district of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh (India) for manufacturing of Paper with 10 Tons Per Day Capacity. The products of the company was very much popular all over India at that time but after the technology went obsolete, the production was stopped in later years.
In 2014, the group envisaged a Greenfield Mega Project under the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Nivesh Nidhi Yojna and signed an MoU with the UP Government in UP Investors’ conclave at New Delhi. The PM1 project was completed in the year 2016 and the commercial production began from October 2016 to manufacture High RCT Multi Layer Kraft Paper in GSM Range of 140 to 300 GSM and Bursting Factor of 18 to 35+ with 150,000 Metric Tons annual capacity.
Most of the Pulping Equipment and Paper manufacturing Equipments are imported based on European Design & Triple Wire Technology. The unit has installed Online Quality Control Equipments to ensure consistent quality of products. All the equipments are fully automatic operated by PLC System to minimise the human interference. The Group has installed its own 6.5 MegaWatt Captive Power Plant to ensure uninterrupted round the clock electric supply to maintain best quality of products and optimum production. The company pledged to maintain the excellent quality of product to cater Specialty Packaging requirements. The PM1 in the coming times will also produce white-top coated multi-layer Kraft Liner for packaging of garments, pharmaceuticals, food products, and such other products used in daily life. This probably was the swiftest execution of a project in India which gave us a state-of-the-art Kraft Paper Mill, equipped with the latest equipments from around the globe, making us one of the top paper mills in India.
In 2019, The Paswara Group installed another Kraft Paper Machine – PM2 having 25,000 tons annual capacity, under the Industrial Investment & Employment Promotion Policy 2017 of State Govt to produce Specialty Papers in GSM range of 80 to 120 GSM from 18 to 22 BF to meet the new export demand market.
In 2020, the group installed Kraft Board Machine – PM3 having 20,000 tons annual capacity, to produce the Kraft Board in GSM range of 250 to 550 GSM in 12 bf to 20 bf and High Ply bond Paper. Later, the group installed another turbine of 2.5 MW, taking total power generation capacity of the group to 8.5MW for its self power consumption.
Currently, one of the largest paper mill in India, producing kraft paper in wide range, our high quality products enjoy wide popularity in different parts of the world. Our products are exported to various Asian, African and Gulf countries. In the past few years, the group has emerged to be one of the largest exporters of Kraft Paper from North India, currently exporting over 50,000 Metric Tons annually to various countries including China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Ethiopia, UAE etc
Today, the group manufacture 500 Tons Per Day of high RCT Corrugated Paper, used for making packaging boxes, cartons, paper bags, etc. to cater the packaging industry in India and abroad. Products include Kraft Paper, Test Liner, Fluting Medium Paper, High Ply Bond paper & Speciality Papers in GSM Range of 100 to 550 with Burst Factor of 12 – 40BF in different shades. Spread over 3 production lines, it is considered to be one of the biggest Paper Mills in India. The company also provides FSC® certified products to its customers and our license code is FSC-C141997. The company clocked an annual turnover of over Rs 700 cr + for the financial year ended 2022.
Now, the group is underway in the establishment of another Greenfield Project – PM4 to produce lighter grammar Kraft Paper in the GSM range of 70 GSM to 130 GSM to meet the new demands of the indigenous and international market. The new project is estimated to be completed by the year end 2024.
